3.Common problems

3.1 Connection failed

  • Check whether the camera is in the list of supported camera models.

  • Check whether the camera Wi-Fi transfer function is turned on.

  • Check whether the camera has completed the authorization of the APP. For the specific steps, see: Use steps (first time).

  • Check whether the Wi-Fi ssid and password configured in the APP is correct.

  • Check whether the APP has access wireless data, local network permission, and geographic location permission.

  • If the above can't solve it, you can restart the camera and restart the APP (kill it and open it again) and try again. You can also submit relevant information in APP-Settings-Feedback, and we will investigate and solve it.

3.2 Download failed

  • It shows that the download is successful but cannot be found in the system album. Please check whether the Cam Linker APP has permission to access the system album.

3.3 Other problems

  • About RAW: Due to the special RAW format of Canon cameras, it cannot be saved to the iPhone's photo album. Therefore, photos in RAW format cannot be displayed and downloaded in the APP. It is recommended to use the JPG+RAW mode to take pictures, so that the JPG format photos can be transferred using the APP, and the RAW format photos are also stored in the card, which is convenient for subsequent editing by the computer.

  • Reinstall: After reinstalling the App, if the connection fails, you need to reconfigure it again according to the steps of the first use.

Related permissions can be set by searching for Cam Linker in the system settings. As shown below:
